VLOG

So, I did a thing. Ever since I got back from Curefest 2022, I have wanted to start a YouTube Channel. Other survivors and people in the cancer community told me I should use my voice and share my stories since at times I can be very funny. Sadly fear kept stopping me. I was terrified of messing up. Then, I heard someone say it’s ok to be unapologetically you. If you know me I’m a natural at being unapologetically me! That is what it took to push past my fear and go for it, in the middle of the night, I got up and searched to see if Leukemia Girl was available and it was! I took that as a sign that I am supposed to do this. On August 31st, in the eleventh hour before Childhood Cancer Awareness Month began, my Leukemia Girl YouTube Channel was created.

I intend to post short videos to provide hope, inspire, and raise awareness about childhood cancer. I will talk about what it was like to go through treatment, and how I had to learn to navigate life after treatment. You may laugh, you may cry but I will be unapologetically me because this is my reality.

Am I crazy or am I living a dream, I think a little bit of both. One thing I know for sure is these vlogs will be the authentic me.
